Abstract/Contents: | "Nine herbicide treatments were applied to dense strands of prostrate spurge to assess the potential for post emergence control of this weed. TURFLON ESTER at the 1.0 lb. ai/a rate was the only treatment in this test which injured the spurge and gave some measure of control after a single application. The 0.5 lb. ai/a rate of TURFLON ESTER caused minimal damage. MSMA and 2, 4-D caused temporary damage with little or no control. AC-140 and select tank mixes with 'GALLERY' preemergence herbicide also caused little injury or weed control." |
