Abstract/Contents: | "Applications of fluroxypyr and clopyralid were applied to Tifgreen bermudagrass in August 1992 to assess turfgrass tolerance. Applications at 0.25, 0.38 and 0.50 lb. AI/A of fluroxypyr caused a slight decrease in color and caused temporary stolon sheath necrosis. Clopyralid had no effects on turf at 8 DAT, but at the 0.50 lb ai/a rate caused decreased color by 21 DAT. In general, Tifgreen bermudagrass was less tolerant of fluroxypr than clopyralid. Tank mixes of fluroxypyr with either trichloppyr (TURFLON ESTER) or dicamba (BANVEL) increased injury." |
