| Abstract/Contents: | "Three applications of Gallery (fall, spring, spring/fall), two applications of Ronstar (fall, spring) and two applications of Dimension (fall only) herbicides were applied to six week old perennial ryegrass turf in the fall of 1992, amd again when applicable in the late winter (March 4) of 1993. Fall applied Dimension at the 1× rate had acceptable color and quality at 75 DAT #!. Ronstar had acceptable quality at 75 DAT #1 also. Gallery at the 1× rate had lower quality scores (than those of the control), but only when fall applied only. Both spring and fall/spring applied treatments of Gallery had fully acceptable quality turfs. Dimension at the the 2× rate produced loss of turf, with unacceptable quality. No herbicides in the test at rates tested controlled Poa annua satisfactorily. No other winter weeds were present in the test." |
