| Abstract/Contents: | "Many specimens of various families from Chengdu area were collected in 1985-1987. 40 species from the families may be considered as turfgrass and ground cover plant, 20 spp. which have be planted and further observed in both field and garden. Author have divided these plants into three types; 1. warm-green, such as Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pars., Paspalum distichum L., Eleucine indica (L.) Gaertn., Eremochloa zeylanica Hack. 2. Cold-green, such as Poa ann a [Poa annua] L., Alopecurus aequalis Sobol. 3. Evergreen, such as Trifolium repens L., Ophiopogon japonicus (L.,)F.) Ker-Gawl., Carex brunnea Thrnb., Sedum lineare Thunb., Glechoma longituba (Nakai Rupr. [)] Finnally [Finally], Author give some suggestion for use of plant turfgrass and ground cover plant in around Chengdu area." |
