Abstract/Contents: | "The content of salt and alkali in soil in Hexi region was high. The turf grasses in general was not easy to establish lawn. According to the introducing F. rubra test from 1990 to 1944, F. rubra had the characteristic of unique leaf colour and a high value of viewing and admiring. It could be clean cultured or mixed sowing. Clean culture it suited to grow in city gardens or on both sides of the way. Mixed sowing it was better with the green period on Hexi region of the F. rubra lawn reached over 25d. The life of the lawn got to more than 10 years. Manuring the new establishing lawn with 7500kg/hm2 sheep feces could make it be lawn 15d in advance." |
