| Abstract/Contents: | "Three kinds of chemicals were applied on the early-spring weeds with respect to seven species belonging to four genera of cool season turfgrass seedling period. The results showed that these chemicals gave different effects on the growth of cool season turfgrass seedling and weed control. Among the turfgrass seedlings were sprayed with treatment II during early-spring. It was secure to tested turfgrass and could promote the turfgrass growth. The treatment gave 43% lethality and 75% comprehensive control effect for broad-leaf weed. It also withheld the growth and seed germination of gramineous weeds. Comparing with CK, treatment II reduced 35.8% weed occurance [occurrence] and gave double effects of sealing and control weed." |
