| Abstract/Contents: | "54 species of turf weeds belonging to 53 genera and 23 families were identified in Nanjing region after nearly 3 years of investigation. Digitaria sanguinalis, Eleusine indica, Eragrostis pilosa, Setaria viridis, Imperata cylindrica, Paspalum distichum, Leersia hexandra, Trifolium pratense and Alternanthera Philoxeroides infested lawns in summer and autumn. Hemistepte lyrata, Galium aparine, Salvia plebeia, Trigonotis peduncularis, Stellaria media, Lapsana apogonoides, Alopecurus aequalis, Cerastium viscosum, Vicia sativa and Veronica didyma in turf usually emerged in winter and spring. The distribution of weeds depended on the years of turf establishment and the management level." |
