Abstract/Contents: | "The adaptability of common centipedegrass (Eremochloa ophiuroides) to varying environment conditions was analysed and summarised in this study, including its strong resistance to shading, diseases, insects, trampling, low-level fertilisation, drought and chemicals. It was recommended, therefore, to be used not only as a turf grass species for establishing lawns under careful maintenance, but also for extensive use in stabilising side slopes of highways." |
