Abstract/Contents:"The authenticity of turfgrass variety is an important index to assess the quality of grass seed. In accordance with International Rules For Seed Testing, the isoelectric focusing electrophoresis technique was used in this paper to identify the authenticities of several cold-season turf grasses in northwestern China. Ampholyte pH range, the enzyme extraction concentration as well as the best time for taking experiment materials were discussed. The results show that the isoelectric focusing electrophoresis technique is an effective measure for turfgrass authenticity identification."
