| Abstract/Contents: | "Salt-tolerance appraisal was carried out for Festuca arundinacea, Lolium perenne, Puccinelina tenuiflora, Barkoel and Zoysia macrostachya varieties introduced to Tianjin city. The results did not show an obvious difference in salt tolerance between tall fescue and perennial ryegrass. Their salt tolerance was better during germination that at the seedling stage. On the contrary, the salt tolerance of Puccinelina tenuiflora was better during the seedling stage than the germination stage. Salt-tolerance appraisal of several turfgrasses gave the following order: Puccinellina tenuiflora > Lolium perenne > Festuca arundinacea > Barkoel." |
