Abstract/Contents: | "The creation of lawns and parks in cities has a fine future. Although Chinese parks have refinement and creative concepts of beauty difficult to be matched by western excellent art works, the proportion of green lawn area is too low. To attain a suitable living environment, the most effective way is to perfect the urban park system, constructing the city within a garden. By enlarging the turf area, bringing into play the ecological and environmental functioning of the turf, and at the same time, developing the unique artistic charm of Chinese parks, the Chinese park project can take flight." |
