| Abstract/Contents: | "Kentucky bluegrass is a high-quality cool-season turfgrass with many good properties. It has been used widely in city greening, sports field construction, freeway greening etc. This article summarises the genetic engineering research on Poa pratensis L. in the last 20 years from two large aspects, namely, regeneration system establishment and genetic transformation. Taking into account the realities in China, this article also looks at the development prospects for genetic transformation technology in the area of Poa pratensis L. breeding." |
