| Abstract/Contents: | "With the progress of turf projects, demand of water resource increase yearly in China. However, water resource in China is under average level of the world, for this reason, it is feasible to empolder water-saving and drought-endurable turf. Buffalograss Buchloe dactyloides is a warm season turfgrass which is excellent of drought hardiness, but it's confined by cold-sensitivity and short green-period in northern China. So, it has became [become] the first goal to heighten winter hardiness through breeding of buffalograss. The headway and main factors of winter hardiness study of buffalograss were summarized in this paper." |
