Abstract/Contents:"Effects of silicon on the drought resistance of Kentucky bluegrass were conducted based on four irrigation treatments and five silicon concentrations. The results showed that silicon involved in many physiological activities. Increased application rate of silicon could improve the germination rate of Kentucky bluegrass; enhance the plant height; increase the numbers of tillers and leaves. Silicon also showed great effects on RWC, membrane permeability and pralines content of Kentucky bluegrass."
