| Abstract/Contents: | "Cynodon dactylon clone from four different habitats were selected and grouped into 3 age grades according to their rhizomes. The quantity, fresh weight, stem length and stem diameter were determined and compared. The results showed that in sunny, arid and trampled habitat, all the indexes were the lowest except the two year and three year old rhizome numbers; the humid habitat produced the highest values except two year old rhizome number and length; in poor soil texture and shadowing habitat, the indexes of C. dactylon ranked the second; sunny, sandy soil with abundant humus habitat ranked the first with the highest rhizome number and fresh weight." |
