| Abstract/Contents: | "A study on lawning characteristics, such as density, uniformity, growth speed and so on, of twenty-four cool-season turfgrass varieties was carried out systemically in Jianghan plain of Hubei province. It included eight tall fescue varieties, twelve Kentucky bluegrass varieties and four perennial ryegrass varieties. Several merit turfgrass varieties were screened out through grey relativity analysis of the varieties' characteristics, which were 'Barlexas' and 'Houndog V' of tall fescue and 'Total eclipse', 'Freedom II', 'Broadway' and 'Liberator' of Kentucky bluegrass." |
