| Abstract/Contents: | "The effects of Kanamycin on seed germination and seedling growth was investigated in this paper. The results showed that Kanamycin had no effect on seed germination, but significantly affected root system and the aboveground [above ground] growth. The top root shortened and widened seedling height, leaf number and growth was reduced. Pale seedlings appeared with the increasing Kanamycin concentration. Based on the results, effective Kanamycin concentration for white clover was determined, with 10~20 mg/L for root system, 30 mg/L for aboveground [above ground] growth, and 40 mg/L for pale seedlings." |
