| Abstract/Contents: | "5 varieties of Lolium perenne and Festuca arundinacea were introduced to central area of Shanxi province to evaluate their adaptability by maturity, coverage, growth rate, biomass and stress tolerance. The results showed that five varieties were all well adapted to the place. Calypso2 and Accent were less stress tolerant, Calypso2 grew slower than Accent, and could reduce cutting frequency and management cost. Jaguar3, Pixie and Fire phoenix had longer green period and higher stress tolerant, Fire phoenix especially adapted to high temperature and drought condition." |
