| Abstract/Contents: | "Twenty available fungicides were used to test the effect of hypha growth inhibition of Rhizoctonia solani, a fungi isolated from creeping bentgrass (Agrostis stolonifera var. palustris) infected with brown patch. The results showed that Sandofan M8, myclobutanil, pripiconazole [propiconazole], Tuzet, triadimefon, chlorothalonil, procymidone, Curzate M8, and Ridomil performed significant effect on inhibition of fungi growth. Among these 9 fungicides, pripiconazole [propiconazole], Sandofan M8 and myclobutanil showed the best inhibition effect even with lower concentration, and the critical concentrations of these 3 fungicides were 6, 38, 7 mg/L respectively." |
