Abstract/Contents: | "A field trial was conducted in Beijing area to evaluate the performance and seedling emergence rates of thirty turfgrass varieties. The results showed that tall fescue and perennial ryegrass had evidently faster emergence than red fescue and Kentucky bluegrass at first. After seedling emergence red fescue and Kentucky bluegrass had stable change. The results of performance evaluation showed that Midnight, Kentucky, Conni of Kentucky bluegrass, Goalkeeper, Accent, Fairway of perennial ryegrass, Jaguar 4, Fire Phoenix, Houndog 5, Ruby, Starfire, Bingo of tall fescue, Pernille, Maxima of red fescue had outstanding performance." |
