Abstract/Contents: | "Experiment was conducted to study te effect of Starane on some turf grasses such as bermudagrass, hybrid bermudagrass (Tifway328, Tifgreen419, Tifdwarf), seashore paspalum, sour paspalum, bahiagrass, carpetgrass, tropical carpetgrass, St. augustinegrass, aciculate chrysopogon, common centipedegrass, creeping bentgrass (new strain Yue Xuan No. 1). The results showed that Starane was safe to bahiagrass, and Starane 0.1% was safe to turf of bermudagrass, seashore paspalum, sour paspalum, St. augustinegrass and common centipedegrass. High concentration of Starane overall decreased chlorophyll content in leaves, increased relative plasmalemma permeability, soluble sugar and protein content in leaves." |
