Abstract/Contents: | "Twenty-nine treatments were compared for the control of Fusarium nivale in Western Washington. Two new types of fungicides, a hydantoin (Rhodia RP-26019) and butanone (BAY MEB 6447) gave excellent control. The experimental Rhodia compound was not only one of the fastest acting but also one of the most effective fungicides ever found in 19 years of testing. The benzimidazoles, as a group were not as effective as in previous years but a mixture of methyl thiophanate and mancozeb (MF-573) produced excellent turf." |
