| Abstract/Contents: | "The effects of two light intensities (15000~20000 and 3000~4000 lx) and two seeding rates (25 and 40 g/m2) on the growth and turf quality of three-month tall fescue (Festuca arundinecea [arundinacea]) turf were studied from Oct., 1998 to Jan., 1999. The performance of tall fescue under high intensity was better than that under low light intensity. Shading inhabited the growth of tall fescue, decreased the turf quality significantly, reduced N uptake and increased K uptake to some extent. On the contrary, the effects of seeding rates were relatively small." |
