| Abstract/Contents: | "Under different water supply conditions in the field, the evapotranspiration (ET) of Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue, perennial ryegrass, buffalograss, Japanese lawngrass, and Bermudagrass was investigated by the microlysimeter method. The results indicated that the ET of the six turfgrasses was mainly influenced by the turfgrass species, and also closely related to the water condition. The needed water supplement levels were estimated based on the ET. Through calculation of the turf Kc coefficient, a comparison was made with water consumption of common crops in northern China." |
