Abstract/Contents:"Resistance of turf-grasses, forages and crops to Ggm were evaluated using PDA disks containing the pathogen mycelium. The tested turf-grasses, including Poa compress [compressa], Festuca arundinacea, F. ovina, F. rubra, Agrostis tenuis, A. palstriss [palustris], Cynodon dactylon, Zoysia japonica, were immune to the pathogen Ggm, while Lolium perenne and P. pratensis were highly resistant. There were differences in resistance of cultivars of these two species. Gramineous forages, including Dactylis glomerata, Puccinellia distans, Agropyron cristatum, A. desertorum, Elymus dahuricus, E. sibiricus, Euphrasia sp., Phleum pretense, Eragrositis curvula, and Paspalum notatum, were immune to the pathogen. L. multiflorum was highly resistant, Bromus inermis was moderately resistant, and Sorghum sudanense was susceptible. Four crops, Avena sativa, Triticum aestivum, Zea mays, and S. vulgare, were immune, highly resistant, moderately resistant and highly susceptible to Ggm, respectively."
