| Abstract/Contents: | "Four plant growth regulators were applied to individual tillers of Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis L. Majestic). The PGR's used were flurprimidol [α-(1-methylethyl)-α-(4- (trifluoromethoxy) phenyl)-5-pyrimidine methanol], paclobutrazol [(2RS, 3RS)-1-(4-chlorophenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-2-(1,2,4- triazol-1-yl) pentan-3-ol], mefluidide [N-(2,4-dimethyl-5-(((trifluoromethyl) sulfonyl) amino) phenyl) acetamide], and amidochlor [N-((acetylamino)methyl)- 2-chloro-N- (2,6- diethylphenyl) acetamide]. The objective of our study was to determine the effects of these plant growth regulators on photosynthate partitioning in Kentucky bluegrass." |
