| Abstract/Contents: | "An unirrigated bluegrass sod was treated with 5-(3-4 dichlorophenyl)-1-n-butylurea, 4 lbs/A and dichloral urea 6.3 lbs/A. Each material was applied at the above rate May 12 and June 20. Spray applications were made at the rate of 100 gals/A. 5-(3-4 dichlorophenyl)-1-methyl-1-n-butylurea gave excellent control of crabgrass with no apparent injury to the sod. Dichloral urea did not give satisfactory control." |
