Abstract/Contents: | "A method for determining ploidy of cultivars within F. rubra L. is described and results for 33 cultivars are given. Some differences from expected results are discussed. Chromosome number was verified as a useful character for classification purposes but its correlation with morphological characters has yet to be assessed. The ploidy of 15 cultivars of various fine fescue species is also reported." |
