| Abstract/Contents: | "Three recently developed processes of turf production and reinforcement enable grass seedlings to be handled and laid as turf. The products, each sown with two mixtures, were compared at Bingley over 7 months, from laying to the completion of artificial wear treatments on part of the turf. Comments are made on various aspects. Clear initial differences became less marked during the period: all products seemed likely to be satisfactory for many turf uses but there were some unresolved questions about their performance under really heavy wear." |
