Abstract
(Thanks to DTRF) | "Alexander de Vries (33) is driekwart jaar hoofdgreenkeeper van de Leidschendamse Golfvereniging Leeuwenbergh. De ambitieuze man uit de hoofdstad afkomstig, die aan het hoofd staat van een team van zes full- en twee parttimers, combineert fysieke arbeid op de baan met organisatorische managementwerkzaamheden. Als een greenkeeper nieuwe stijl ervaart hij geen dag als hetzelfde. 'Ik ben continu bezig met de kwaliteit van de baan en houd avn hard werken. Mijn dag is pas geslaagd als ik 's avonds thuis met m'n hoofd in het bord val. Afgelopen zomer heb ik wel eens tegen de grens aangezeten. Dat neem ik voor lief, want ik wil een verrekt goede greenkeeper worden.'" |
