Abstract
(Thanks to DTRF) | "Zand word al sinds mensenheugenis gebruikt als middel voor natte omstandigheden. Golf is ontstaan op de zanderige kustgronden van Schotland, ondanks de weersomstandigheden die El Nuio zouden doen verbleken. Zonder twijfel is het gebruik van kwalitatief heel goed zand een groot succes geworden. Vervolgens ontstaat de vraag, waarom na het succes van het topdressen met zand op en rond de greens, het idee om ook de fairways te topdressen, gezien werd als een duur idee uit de late jaren tachtig. Waarom denken velen er nog steeds zo over." |
