Abstract
(Thanks to DTRF) | "Bespelingstolerantie, waterbesparing, weinig biomassa en ongevoeligheid voor roest en andere schimmels zijn belangrijke selectiecriteria bij het kweken en telen van duurzamere rassen in Engels raaigras. De gewenste fijnheid van deze grassoort heeft een keerzijde: een geringere zaadopbrengst. Daarom noemt Wim Geluk, hoofd graszaadproductie DLF / Innoseeds, deze soort 'juffertjes'. Combineer die geringere zaadopbrengst van de 'juffertjes' met de prijsontwikkelingen in de tarwemarkt en je stuit op een graszaadparadox. Duurzame grassen kunnen we kweken en telen, maar is de markt wel bereid de hogere prijs daarvoor te betalen?" |
