Abstract
(Thanks to DTRF) | "Weet u hoeveel het gras op hole 16 de afgelopen week is gegroeid, hoeveel water verdampt is en wat de stikstofbehoefte is van het gras op die fairway? De kans is klein dat u dat exact weet. Gerard van der Werf van het kersverse bedrijf The Greeneyes weet dat echter precies. Tot op twee cijfers achter de komma. Hij maakt daarvoor gebruik van een technologie die in de akkerbouw al veel langer gemeengoed is. De gegevens waarmee The Greeneyes werkt, worden berekend met behulp van het Sebal-model. Dit is een systeem dat door de Wageningse universiteit is ontwikkeld en dat in staat is om op basis van satellietbeelden allerlei gegevens over planten te genereren." |
