Abstract/Contents:In trials with D. australe stolons at Adelaide, it was observed that the grass grew better in shaded sites rather than full sun. Sites under dense canopy trees such as cedars have since been planted successfully and require minimum maintenance. As the stolons spread on the soil surface it is necessary to use a very high setting for rotary mowers.
