Abstract
(Thanks to DTRF) | "In de strijd om de ruimte verdwijnen vaak de sportterreinen naar de stadsrand. En dat terwijl sporten dicht bij huis de voorkeur heeft. Sporten dichtbij huis bevordert de deelname, berperkt de automobiliteit, is inzetbaar bij buurt- en welzijnswerk en kàn in een behoefte aan groen tegemoet komen. Sportcomplexen zijn echter kwetsbaar, want in economische termen vaak onrendabel. Dat geldt zeker voor de binnensteden, waar de grond veel waard is. In dit artikel een pleidooi voor behoud en ontwikkeling van groene sportcomplexen in het centrum van de stad" |
