Abstract
(Thanks to DTRF) | "Bliksem kan een boom flink beschadigen. Doorgaans is de ergste schade aan de buitenkant op de bast te vinden, maar bomen met een grove bast, met metalen voorwerpen zoals oude boomankers, met snoeiwonden of inrottingen hebben grote kans dat de bliksem naar binnen schiet. Wanneer dit gebeurt, kunnen de gevolgen vele malen groter zijn. Een boom of tak kan 'exploderen', met mogelijk een hoop gevolgschade door het rondslingerende hout. Bliksemafleiders in bomen kunnen dit gevaar voorkomen." |
