| Abstract/Contents: | "The Plant Pathology Department at Weibullsholm often receives damaged turf of different kinds. Almost always nematodes has been found in the roots. Specialists from the Nematode Laboratory at the Swedish Institute for Plant Protection have examined some samples and found species from the genera Pratylenchus, Tylenchorynchus and Trichodorus. It is obvious that these nematodes might harm the turfgrasses. To-day we know far too little about these problems. Therefore the subject is well worth studying." |
