| Abstract/Contents: | "Activated charcoal was appied at 0, 2, 4 & 6 week intervals to Poa annua previously treated with 3,5-Dichloro-N-(l, l-dimenthyl-2-propnyl) benzamide (Kerb)1. Periodic deactivation of residual Kerb with activated charcoal was to determine whether Poa annua must be continuously exposed until death or if capable of absorbing a lethal dose over a shorter period of time. Results indicate that Poa annua is capable of absorbing a lethal dose of Kerb in 2 weeks such that death results even after deactivation of residual Kerb with activated charcoal." |
