| Abstract/Contents: | Several herbicides, each at 2 rates, were applied to immature centipedegrass [Eremochloa ophiaroides] grown in pots in the greenhouse, and the effects on root and top growth were evaluated. Rooting was adversely affected by all herbicides except DCPA at 10 lb/acre, simazine at 1.5 lb/acre, and bromoxynil at 0.5 lb/acre, but the last named caused leaf tip-burn and severely thinned top growth. |
