| Abstract/Contents: | Describes the purpose of subsurface application of pesticides. Field trial results were conducted during 1988-89 to evaluate subsurface pesticide application for the control of the Japanese beetle larva. Concludes that subsurface placement has high potential to reduce rates and surface residues from pesticides and improve the performance and range of biocontrol materials for control of subsurface pests. |
