| Abstract/Contents: | "An apparatus is described for the measurement of golf green "speed" in research situations. A comparison was made between the apparatus and the "Stimpmeter" which showed that, within limits, speed data obtained with the apparatus could be converted to "Stimpmeter" speed values. The apparatus had the facility to adjust the lengths of rolls produced in order to ensure that they remained within the boundaries of field research plots." |
