| Abstract/Contents: | The methods reviewed include sanding, vertical cutting, spiking, aerating sub-surface layers using a vibration technique, aerating by removing cores of turf, and the "Permadrain" method in which channels 1 cm wide and 20 cm deep are cut at 25 cm intervals and filled in with a drainage material. Aerating and the Permadrain method were the most successful. |
