| Abstract/Contents: | The uses, application methods and changes in soil characteristics are reviewed for plastic-based materials (Hygromull, Styromull, Hygropor), polyelectrolytes (Agrosil) and agglutinating materials (Curasol, Bodenfestiger huls 801) in making playing fields and grassed areas in parks. The use of these materials, with or without mulching, for soil conservation is discussed. |
