| Abstract/Contents: | Sixty-three turf grass cvs belonging to 6 spp. viz. red fescue [Festuca rubra], smooth stalked meadow-grass [Poa pratensis], fine bentgrass [Agrostis sp.], perennial ryegrass [Lolium perenne], crested dogstail [Cynosurus cristatus] and common fescue [Festuca ovina] are evaluated for the following factors: speed of germination, time taken for a close sward to be formed, sward density, leaf breadth, occurrence of bare patches, weed infestation, sward color, and susceptibility to disease. |
