| Abstract/Contents: | "Field experiment was conducted in 2012 to evaluate efficacy of topramezone for bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon L.) control with combinations of triclopyr or quinclorac with comparison to fenoxaprop. All topramezone treatments contained methylated seed oil. Treatments were applied August 22, 2012 followed by two, 21-day interval applications. Treatments that contained topramezone alone showed good control (80%) on bermudagrass at 8 weeks after initial treatment (WAIT). Treatments that contained combinations of triclopyr or quinclorac showed between 55 to 70% control of bermudagrass at 8 WAIT. All treatments were followed up with a summer rating and showed that topramezone alone, plus triclopyr, or plus quinclorac had excellent control (99%) over bermudagrass compared to fenoxaprop (77%)." |
