| Abstract/Contents: | Only diazinon and Dursban (O,O-diethyl O-3,5,6-trichloro-2- pyridyl) phosphorothioate) were effective in controlling grubs of a resistant strain of Amphimallon majalis in field plots of turf treated on 2 or 9 July, 1969. Carbaryl was ineffective when applied on 2 July but was effective one week nearer the peak time for hatching. Standard dieldrin treatments were ineffective on both dates. |
