Abstract/Contents: | "A series of changes of turfgrass morphology,anatomical structure, photosynthetic organ, antioxidant enzymes, endogenous hormones, and absorption and accumulation of nutrients occurred under low light stress. This short review reports the importance of research on turfgrass shadow tolerance. The effect of shadow environment on turfgrass morphology and physiology; the mechanism of physiological response; and the photosynthetic regulation were summarized. Current research problems were also discussed to provide insight for future relevant research." |
