Abstract/Contents:"Effects of different temperatures (39, 41, 43, 45°C) and different aging times (24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96 h) on the seed germination rates of three kinds of turfgrass seeds were investigated. Results showed that the different vigor of seeds could be distinguished using accelerated aging. The optimal conditions of artificial accelerated aging for the seeds of Cynodon dactylon (Linn.) Pers., Agrostis stolonifera ,and Paspalum vaginatum SW. were 41°C for 48 h,43°C for 72 h and 41°C for 60 h,respectively."
