Abstract/Contents:"The occurrence characteristics and control methods of weeds in newly established Dichondra repens turf were studied. The result showed that(1) there were 19 species of weeds in newly established Dichondra repens turf in autumn and winter in Kunming. In which,Fagopyrum dibotrys,Capsella bursapastoris,Galinsoga parviflora,Bidens pilosa,Digitaria sanguinalis,Setaria viridis and Perilla frutescens were the most common weeds;(2) Artificial weeding and spraying Matijing at 195 to 240 g/ha plus Dashahe at 750 to 825 mL/ha were the more suitable control methods in terms of weeding efficiency and environmental safe.If the application amount of herbicide increased,Dichondra repens would be inhibited and even death. The control technique of weeds in Dichondra repens turf needs further research work, and the pesticides should be carefully selected."
