Abstract/Contents:"The relative germination rate, seed germination potential, embryo root and embryonic bud ratio, germination index, simplified vigor index of 5 grass species were measured and analyzed by the method of Petri dishes of paper germination and pot seedling cultivation under 7 different mixed salt solutions of NaCl and Na2SO4 (0.4% to 1.6%). MDA and free proline contents were measured and compared in another 5 different mixed salt solutions (0.3%~1.5%). The effect of salt stress on the seed germination and seedling growth were evaluated and analyzed by membership function to provide theoretical reference for salt tolerance identification. The results showed that the order of salt tolerance of 5 grass species was: Elymus nutans Agropyron trachycaulum, Elymus sibiricus Agropyron cristatum Bromus inermis."
